My Story

Hello and thank you for taking time to visit my blog.

My name is Sarah Strubhar and I am a mother of 2 great kids - a 20 month old and a 6 year old and wife to a fantastic husband.  

My path to a healthier life began in March 2012.  My husband and I were thinking about trying to have a second child but after the issues during my first pregnancy there were many concerns that needed to be addressed.  We met with my doctor at the time and was told the best thing I could do was to begin exercising 5 days a week.  I was going to exercise 3 days a week, but decided if a second child was going to happen than 5 days it would be.  When I started going to the gym, I was out of shape but didn't realize how much but took small steps and I started feeling better.  I was doing cardio and weight lifting, then began doing Les Mills Body Pump, Les Mills Body Combat & Les Mills Body Step classes as well as Pilates & Yoga.  Fast forward to July 2012 and I found out I was pregnant.  I continued working out through my pregnancy and had a successful pregnancy with no issues as well as a natural delivery with no drugs.

Our family moved in May 2013 just 2 months after having my little girl.  Once we moved, I started exercising again in June and went back to my usual routine of cardio and some weight training.  I soon learned I had plateaued and had to find a different routine.  I changed things up a bit and made a little more progress, but soon found myself hitting a brick wall again.  

Finally this past summer, June 2014, after hearing and seeing a lot about Shakeology and Team Beachbody, I decided to join a Free Clean Eating Group and Squat Challenge group.  Once I was introduced to Clean Eating, I slowly started implementing better food choices, Shakeology and different workouts and I can say I have never felt better.  I began my first Team Beachbody workout in July with T25 and loved every minute of it.  I lost 9 pounds and 19 inches.



I signed up as a Beachbody Coach in August 2014 and look forward to paying forward what I have learned in just a few short months.  I have gone from a size 14 (in March 2012) to a size 4 (to date).  I am stronger now then when I started just a few short years ago, and feel Fit & Fantastic!

While I am a work in progress, I am constantly striving to be the best mom & mom my kids & husband deserve.  I strive each day to make healthier choices so I can be in the best shape and be here as long as I can for all my loved ones!  Follow me along this journey, better yet join along with me, and you too will feel Fit & Fantastic!

I recently had some blood work done testing my cholesterol and such and was surprisingly excited about the results and changes that have come about since changing my eating & exercise habits as well as incorporating Shakeology into my daily routine.  Check out my post HERE to see my results.
